About - Rich Barlow

President/Managing Director of Technical Services

JAG was originally founded by Rich in 2006 to provide technical assistance to aircraft buyers, operators, brokers and appraisers.  This assistance included on-site aircraft inspections, records audits, advise on technical and regulatory requirements and nuisances of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and aircraft models.

Rich's  early career  began in the US Army as a Helicopter Technician.  Following his separation Rich held technician and management positions at some of the country's leading airlines and maintenance facilities.   

Building on his experience in aircraft maintenance, quality and powerplants, Rich joined AVITAS (a world leading aviation consultancy) as an aircraft Auditor. There he performed physical inspections, records audits, lease redelivery and even repossession of hundreds Commercial and Business aircraft, engines, flight simulators and spares.  As Manager-Aircraft Valuations he provided valuations of Billions of dollars worth of aviation assets.   Rich later founded GRA Aviation Specialists, a boutique aviation consultancy which rose to one of the top 10 appraisal companies in the world.


In addition to operating JAG,  over the past 20 years Rich has been involved in business development, marketing and sales of aircraft, maintenance and modifications with widely respected companies such as Hawker Beechcraft and Constant/Nextant.

About - Andrey Komarov

Managing Partner and Global Director of Business Development

Andrey is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with our international clients and partners.  Andrey also shares responsibility for the performance of market analysis, development and the performance of pricing sensitivities.


Prior to joining Jet Assist Group, Andrey held an array of positions in different financial institutions including RXR Realty and Nuveen. His professional background represents focus on Investor Relations and Sales.


Andrey holds a Master’s Degree from New York University and a Bachelor Degree from Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College, both with a concentration on Finance and International Business.

About - Igor Avdeev

Lead Associate – International Business Development

Throughout his career, Igor has held an impressive range of developmental and managerial positions in very highly regarded aviation companies across the globe. In Pulkovo Airport he was part of an international team of recognized experts responsible for the development of new air routes throughout Russia and Finland. He also was an integral member of one of the first private airlines in Russia “SPAIRE” where he led marketing and network development of passenger and cargo flights from UAE to Russia and Africa. Additionally, he was a co-founder and GM for “LEDAMCO” in UAE, a company that provided worldwide full flight support (Traffic rights, Fueling, Ground handling etc.). Most recently, he was a co-founder and CEO of “White Spot Aviation” company in UAE, which was involved in marketing and charter of cargo flights, as well as long term program sales.


Igor attended State University of Economics and Finance, St Petersburg where he obtained a BA in Economics and Finance.  Igor also holds an ATCO Diploma from the Academy of Civil Aviation inSt. Petersburg


About - Eoghan (Owen) Joyce

Managing Partner – Flight Operations/Fleet Analysis

Eoghan comes to us with a ton of varied operational experience with expertise in regional airline operations and business aviation serving the executive and ULHNW private aviation market sector. His experience includes Airline management, business aircraft management and flight department operations. Flight experience includes 15 years supporting domestic and global operations in intercontinental range aircraft.   Eoghan is a CFI/ATP and holds type ratings in the Gulfstream family, Hawker family as well as the Citation X and Beechjet.  Additionally, Eoghan is fully qualified and experienced in flight operations in the extreme northern regions of North America with a variety of equipment such as the DC-3 and deHaviland Beaver.
